Denise P. Ford-Walker is a native of Detroit, Michigan. She was introduced to Christ Jesus by her grandfather, the late Bishop Ceasar A. Ford, founding Pastor of Emanuel Son of Light in Mt. Clemens, MI. She accepted the gift of Salvation of Jesus Christ around the age of nine and baptized. She attended her grandfather’s Church and participated in Bible Study, Sunday school, the Children’s Choir, and assisted at times in leading Worship Service.
During her teen years, she relocated to Selma, Alabama with her grandparents. She remained involved with her grandfather’s ministry by becoming his armor bearer. Her primary duty was driving her grandfather to many rural towns as he delivered the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost.
She later relocated to Chicago, IL, but her involvement with the church ceased. As she journeyed down the road of life, she discovered that her faith was shaken and her walk with the Lord was missing. While struggling to find her roots in Christ, she went through spiritual warfare consistently for nineteen years. She found herself coming back to the church, but the battle was still raging against her will to surrender to Christ. The strongholds were pulling her away from the great calling on her life.
During 2004, she had a visitation by God that changed her. Since her life was transitioned to a spiritual calling, she has rededicated her life back to Christ in serving in many capacities. A minister, an author of Rhythm of Rage, and A Passion of Thorns two non-fiction novels, an advocate for Abused Women/Children, while sharing her testimony, and gifts to inspire hope to people from all walks of life.
The anointing that’s on Denise P. Ford-Walker’s, life has blessed many people that are suffering in silence from low-self esteem, loss of identity, divorce, abuse, rejection, neglect, poverty etc. The Lord has commission her as a mouth piece for His glory to be an intercessor for prayer, healing, deliverance, and restoration to His people.
